Our Mission
What We Do
Skills training, live exercises, hospital partnerships, and student-led innovation — all under one roof.
Hands-on skills workshops covering BLS, airway management, and prehospital care.
Monthly skills sessions led by upper-year mentors and certified instructors, plus simulated patient encounters.
Biannual mass-casualty exercises with real-time role assignments and performance review.
Full-scale drills with moulage, role cards, and structured debriefs across fall and winter.
Student-led tech projects including AED mapping and ER optimization tools.
Our Innovation Lab ships real software — the AED Mapping App and ER patient-flow concepts.
Collaborations with Toronto emergency departments for shadowing and physician speakers.
Pathways to ED shadowing, journal clubs, and a recurring guest lecture series.
Data-driven research on EMS preparedness, with a future undergraduate journal.
Geographic EMS preparedness studies plus our upcoming undergraduate EMS Innovation Journal.
EMS competition team representing UofT at national and international events.
Tryouts in early fall; conference travel funding for the selected team.
